Odds For Scottish White Christmas Tumble Amidst Cold Snap

William Hill have trimmed the price of Scotland seeing snow on Christmas Day as weather warnings popped up for the weekend. Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow have all been cut from an original 5/1 to 7/2 with the current cold snap set to bring snow north of the border.

In London, the price of a White Christmas is 8/1, with Cardiff the same price and Belfast 6/1.

“It is looking like a little festive flurry could be just around the corner for people up in Scotland and we can envisage that as more snow falls the odds will do the same,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

Snow on Christmas Day: 7/2 Aberdeen; 7/2 Edinburgh; 7/2 Glasgow;6/1 Belfast, 6/1 Leeds, 6/1 Liverpool, 6/1 Manchester, 6/1 Newcastle, 8/1 Birmingham, 8/1 Bristol, 8/1 Cardiff, 8/1 London, 8/1 Norwich, 10/1 Dublin, 10/1 Penzance
