No Overall Majority Odds Shorten Again

WILLIAM HILL have cut the odds for No Overall Majority at the General Election to their shortest price yet of 8/11 as the outcome of next year's poll appears ever less predictable.

One William Hill customer from Devon has already placed 23 bets totalling £23,400 that the outcome of the next General Election will be 'No overall majority'. He stands to collect £51,000 from his wagers if his hunch proves correct.

'No overall majority could well end up as the worst outcome for bookies, having shortened from 11/8 to 8/11' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe, 'But this is certainly set to be the General Election with the greatest number of potential outcomes we have ever bet on'
