Mullins 20-1 To Sweep Up Novice Hurdle Division

William Hill are offering odds of 20-1 for Willie Mullins to train the winner of the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle, Neptune Novices’ Hurdle and Albert Bartlett Novices Hurdle. It follows wins for Tell Us More and Douvan at Gowran Park.

After winning the maiden hurdle on the card, Tell Us More went 8-1 outright favourite for the Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle from 10-1, and 12-1 from 14-1 for the Neptune Novices’ Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival in March.

And the celebrations continued for Mullins as he trained Douvan to win the Santa Train At Gowran Park Novice Hurdle – William Hill installed him as 8-1 favourite for the Supreme.

Meanwhile at Haydock, The New One is 7-2 unchanged for the Champion Hurdle after a comfortable win.

Earlier on the card at Haydock, Gas Line Boy was an impressive winner of the 3m5f Handicap Chase, romping home to earn a shortened price of 14-1 for the Welsh National (from 20-1).

And at Ascot, Al Ferof halved in price for the William Hill King George after landing the Amlin 1965 Chase – Paul Nicholls’ grey is now 8-1 from 16-1 for the Boxing Day feature at Kempton Park.
