Missing payout on Alain and Georges

William Hill are paying out on brothers Alain and Georges Deloix in their market on the hit BBC TV show, The Missing, which ended last night.

'Most viewers will have expected an unambiguous resolution to the series - but that's not what they got' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe, 'In our opinion, the fairest outcome is to pay out on a dead-heat between Alain Deloix and his brother Georges as the perpetrators of the abduction of Oliver Hughes - and both were popular choices with our punters. Each of them was favourite at different stages, with Alain offered at longest odds of 33/1, eventually ending up as 5/4 favourite and Georges having once been an 8/1 chance but ending up at 3/1 when the book was finally closed.'
