Irvine Odds Tumble To Be Next Manager To Go

Alan Irvine’s odds of being the next manager have tumbled dramatically today and William Hill now make him the favourite to be the next manager to leave his job. Starting the day at 6/1 to be the next to go, a sustained Nationwide gamble sparked in London and Birmingham has seen his odds slashed to 7/4.

“Even as his odds have tumbled, the money has continued to come in for Alan Irvine to go and we have taken bets upwards of £100 at odds as varied as 6/1 and 7/4 today which is a very telling indicator for a manager market,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

Next Premier League manager to leave: 7/4 Alan Irvine; 5/2 Nigel Pearson; 3/1 Brendan Rodgers; 10/1 Steve Bruce; 16/1 Harry Redknapp; 16/1 Mauro Pochettino; 16/1 Paul Lambert; 20/1 BAR
