How Many MPs Will Defect To UKIP?
ODDS-ON NO MORE DEFECTIONS TO UKIP
WILLIAM HILL have opened a market on how many sitting MPs will defect to UKIP after the Clacton by-election takes place but before the General Election. And Hills offer 3/1 that two or more will do so; 5/2 that one will do so; and 4/6 that none at all will do so.
'There are stories about up to eight MPs defecting to UKIP but we think any considering taking such a move will wait until they see how Douglas Carswell gets on in Clacton before committing themselves to doing so' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
UKIP are 2/7 favourites to win the Clacton by election with Hills who also offer 5/2 Conservatives; 33/1 Labour; 100/1 Lib Dems.
WILLIAM HILL: How many seats will UKIP win at the General Election: Evens 1-2; 11/4 None; 3/1 Five or more; 5/1 3-4.
