Devon Gambler Electing To Cream Off £50,000

A WILLIAM HILL CUSTOMER from Devon has placed 23 bets totalling £23,400 that the outcome of the next General Election will be 'No overall majority'. He stands to collect £51,000 from his wagers if his hunch proves correct. Hills currently make No overall majority their 10/11 favourite to be the Election outcome.

Hills say that for the first time they are offering odds for TEN possible outcomes to the General Election - and taking money for them all. 'Admittedly, very few clients are betting on a Lib Dem majority, but every other possible result, including a UKIP majority, is attracting serious support' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe. 'In my experience, which goes back to the early 1970s,this is unique in political betting history.'
