By Election Big Match Thursday- Score Draw?

WITH TWO BY ELECTIONS taking place on Thursday, bookmakers William Hill are predicting that UKIP and Labour will fight out a 1-1 score draw, leaving the Tories and Lib Dems goalless.

'We believe UKIP will prove too strong for the Tories in Clacton, but that Labour are likely to hit back by winning in Heywood, leaving the two tied with one victory apiece' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.

Hills make UKIP red hot 1/50 favourites to win in Clacton, where the Tories are 12/1; Labour 50/1 and Lib Dems 100/1.

One William Hill client from Coventry is so confident that Labour will win Thursday’s Heywood-Middleton by election, that he has staked a total of £40,500 on them to do so – to receive back £43,000 – a total profit of £2500.

‘Labour have been backed from 1/7 favourites down to 1/100 and this particular client has no doubt that they will win easily’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe. Hills make UKIP 16/1 to win, with the Conservatives 150/1 and Lib Dems 250/1.

**UKIP are also odds-on favourites – at 2/5- to win in Rochester-Strood, when the by-election is held, where the Tories are 15/8; Labour 14/1 and Lib Dems 200/1.
