Both Women’s & Men’s Marathon Look Most Competitive In Years

The latest odds from William Hill suggest that both the Men’s & Women’s London Marathon are the most competitive fields in years with both favourites offered at 2/1. William Kipsang is the 2/1 favourite to win the Men’s race with Tsegaye Kebede 9/2  and Mo 6/1. Priscah Jeptoo is 2/1 to win the Women’s race with Edna Kiplagat offered at 7/2.

Mo is 1/2 to produce a new British record on Sunday and he is 20/1 to produce a course record.

“Mo will almost certainly start as the best backed runner in the history of the marathon and we will have to hope that he does not  win on debut!” said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.
