Blaklion Strong in Albert Bartlett Trial

Blaklion left little doubt as to his intended Cheltenham Festival target with a dominant win in the Albert Bartlett trial at Cheltenham on Saturday. William Hill offer 14-1 (from 33-1) that he follows up at the Festival in March.

William Hill have also removed Blaklion from the Neptune Novices’ betting (for which he was also a 33-1 chance), because of the way Nigel Twiston-Davies’ son of Kayf Tara won.

“Blaklion is clearly one of the best novice’s over three miles and all roads must now point to the Albert Bartlett in March,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.
