Sir Anthony McCoy first became a champion jump jockey in 1996. Nearly two decades on, he has been crowned Champion Jump Jockey for a 19th consecutive year, making him the greatest jockey of all time.

Having ridden over 4,000 winners in his incredible career – including the 2010 Grand National, the prestigious Cheltenham Gold Cup, Champion Hurdle, Queen Mother Champion Chase & King George VI Chase – this incredible man, and BBC Sports Personality of the Year, continues to break all records and set new ones.

On 30 December 2015, AP McCoy was awarded a knighthood in the New Years Honours making him Sir Anthony McCoy. Read more here
