I am the William Hill PR team’s resident Northerner but don’t hold that against me. I went to the King’s School Chester, before studying at both Leicester University and Louisiana State University.

A lover of most sports, I went to my first ever football match at the tender age of six at the Deva Stadium where I saw Chester lose a Division 2 clash against Blackpool. I am a keen follower of the Chester phoenix club, Chester FC and perennial disappointments, Bolton Wanderers.

In another life, I rowed for GB juniors but the extent of my sporting prowess these days involves turning out between the sticks for Tollington Trailbazers on Hackney Marshes on Sunday mornings - often described by many lovers of the game as a cross between Neville Southall and Billy the Fish.

Other sports that I enjoy include cricket, American Football, Baseball, tennis and occasional partaking in the odd backwards run. I am also a guilty follower of I’m A Celebrity, X-Factor, Britain’s Got Talent and other shows that I should, in theory, dislike. Feel free to contact me on any of these issues.

In my (limited) spare time, I enjoy going to gigs/festivals, taking in the sights and sounds of a local alehouse and in no way being a bit of a geek, I like to play computer games.
