Racing and general sports fan and organizer extraordinaire, Jennie looks after the Racing PR and William Hill's horseracing and greyhound sponsorships, including the flagship events the William Hill Winter Festival at Kempton and the William Hill Greyhound Derby at Wimbledon. She started her career at Hills in the betting shops before moving to the Press Office in 2002.
Her highlights so far have been the great Best Mate winning his third Cheltenham Gold Cup, Kauto Star's fifth King George and the peerless Westmead Hawk weaving his magic round Plough Lane – but there have been some more amusing and unique moments, such as appearing on Al Jezeera TV and having lunch with the Queen’s Personal Assistant!
It’s not all glamour though and she is often seen dragging boxes, banners, and branding between the office and carpark and has an impressive range of skills with a drill, cable-tie or iron! When not working, she is usually found at her stable yard with her horse Red Opera, who is slowly learning how not to be a racehorse and will hopefully be competing in some of the retired racehorse showing classes soon.
