Public Relations

Spanning event management, press office, corporate and consumer communications, and social media, there are plenty of exciting opportunities to join us here in PR. Working at the forefront of betting commentary, you could be creating a buzz around the latest royal arrival, supporting our sponsorships in racing, football and other sports, or telling the world about our achievements and latest products.


There are specialist teams within our HR function, offering a number of fantastic opportunities to join us. As an HR Business Partner, you’d work closely with the business to deliver its people strategy. Or, within our centralised HR Operations Team in Leeds, you could provide first-class HR and Training services. We also have a dedicated Recruitment Team and an expert People Development Team.


Like any FTSE 250 company, our finance department is not only responsible for all our financial accounting and reporting, we also ensure all the relevant controls are in place and provide critical commercial analysis to the functional heads to support future business growth. Our Group Finance Team, based mainly in London, operates a partnering model aligning to business areas and our international operations in Gibraltar, US and Australia.

Audit & Risk

Join us here in Audit and you’ll become king or queen of controls and monitoring, while in the Risk Team you’ll help us weigh up the pros and cons resulting in recommendations that ultimately enable the business to grow.

Legal, Compliance & Security

It’s our responsibility to ensure the business complies with all corporate legal issues, contracts and deals. To succeed here, you’ll need to stay ahead of the curve on current and new industry regulations in order to help the business embed whatever is required.

Shop Support Services

Joining us in this vital internal support function, you’ll be the person at the end of the phone dealing with a wide range of maintenance requests and issues. Having logged the call, it’ll be down to you to ensure the issue is passed on quickly and accurately to a Field-based Team, who will then speed to the rescue.

Property and Estates

From site identification and acquisition, to ensuring we have all necessary consents to trade, to the capital fit out and ongoing shop fitting programmes, through to the upkeep and maintenance of the Estate – this department has it all. And with such a diverse range of properties in so many locations, we’re always looking for talented professionals to join us in a range of roles, including Project Managers, Development Managers, Acquisition Surveyors or on the Maintenance team.


We’re committed to ensuring our colleagues can work in a secure and safe environment, wherever they are, whilst also safeguarding the William Hill brand and protecting company assets. Join us and you could be helping to run our comprehensive risk assessment programme for our shops and headquarters estate, providing bespoke training, or deploying key crime prevention tools. We also have teams involved in anti-money laundering and liaison with organisations including the police, local authorities and regulatory bodies.

Retail Central Operations

It’s our role to support colleagues working in the field by making sure they have the tools needed to do their jobs. We act as gatekeeper for the Retail channel – a link between support departments and shops as well as a natural point of contact for mobile, online and international. Based in Leeds, we include a Communications and Operations Team, an SSBT Manager, a Customer Experience Manager, a Project Manager, Head of Customer Relations and a Retail Services Team who deal with the channel’s major supplier contracts.
