Meet Kirsty - one of our WOW who's growing her team
Kirsty Mellor has been with William Hill for 7 years and is leading some big changes to the HR team in Leeds. She’s recruiting for a HR Systems Manager and a People Analytics Manager ahead of us launching SuccessFactors this summer. We caught up with her to find out what SuccessFactors is all about.
Hi Kirsty, what’s the best thing about working in HR at William Hill?
I can honestly say that no 2 days are ever the same. We thrive on change and transformation, and I’ve been involved in a big project over the last 12 months. The good news for people joining HR is that this transformation will continue for the next 12-18 months. We’re transforming to put us in a strong position, so there is plenty to keep us busy. There are opportunities for people to grab hold of our new SuccessFactors system and show us the great things it can do.
What’s the HR team like?
They are great. We like a challenge, enjoy problem solving, and we’re all prepared to roll our sleeves up to make Successfactors work for us. Our new Systems Manager will have support from the William Hill tech teams and the SAP community as well as consultants from PWC. Our People Analytics Manager will bring data to life. There’s always a serious element to HR roles, but we always make time to have some fun. Coming to work here, you’ll be part of a HR shared service community.
