Meet Dan, he’s our Design Studio Manager in Marketing. We went behind the bet and found out a little bit more about Dan and his life at William Hill.

How long have you worked with us?
Not long, I’m a newbie – I started early 2017!
Do you have a typical working day?
Starts with distributing workload across the design team and checking progress of all projects. Throughout the day I am involved in project and concept meetings and managing the workflow of the studio.
Due to the nature of the business, I often have to accommodate urgent requests, which require me to re-plan and adapt the schedule accordingly.
Over all it’s my responsibility to ensure all the marketing/design requests that are sent in to the Leeds studio, from all over Europe, are done on-time and to a high standard.
What are you most proud of in your career?
In a previous position at a design agency, I built the design team up from 2 to over 25 designers in a little over 5 years.
If you weren’t doing this, what would you be doing?
If I hadn’t followed a career in design, I would have liked to work as an architect.
And finally, an interesting fact that not many people know about you
I haven’t had a day off ill in over 15 years!
