Crispin started his career in investment banking at N.M.Rothschild & Sons rising to Senior Manager responsible for Telecoms Media and Technology deals, before taking on corporate development and strategy roles at ITV and BSkyB.

Crispin left Sky in 2004 and raised funding to set up his own TV and online gaming business (Gaming Media Group), building the world’s largest TV channel dedicated to gaming (The Poker Channel), and an award-winning Power 50 gaming site PokerHeaven.com. He expanded the business internationally both organically and via acquisition, and expanded into online casino and sports-betting verticals, before selling the Channel in 2013 to a VC-backed European games channel. He then joined William Hill, working in the Corporate Development Office for two years, advising the online business on operational strategy, partnerships and investments, and overseeing the Shoreditch office’s innovation and product development projects.

Appointed as Interim MD of WHO in January 2016, and permanent MD in May 2016, Crispin assumed his current role in April 2018 in which he has oversight of strategic growth opportunities for the Group globally, with the US opportunity being his immediate priority.
