Football League Betting Facts And Figures Ahead Of Big Kick-Off

The football league kicks off at the weekend and William Hill have priced up all the relevant leagues. In the Championship Stoke (16%) are the best backed to win the league, closely followed by Leeds who have attracted 15.7%. With 0.3% it is fair to say that Bolton & Rotherham fans do not have high hopes for their season.

In League One, Sunderland fans may finally have an end in sight to their tumultuous couple of seasons with 16.2% of all bets on them to win the division. With Portsmouth (11.5%) and Charlton (11%) rounding off the top three. At the bottom of the table, Shrewsbury have been best backed for the drop by 19% of all punters.
