Ryan Boost For 15/8 Trump
DONALD TRUMP's prospects of becoming US President have been boosted by backing from Paul Ryan, and bookmakers William Hill are now offering him at the shortest odds yet of 15/8 (35% chance), having initially quoted him at a dismissive 150/1 (under 1%) when he first declared as a runner.
'The Trump bandwagon was slow to get rolling, but is positively speeding along now, to the delight of many of those who took a chance and backed him at long odds, including British supporter John Mappin, who stands to collect £80,000 if he wins' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
But Trump's biggest rival, Hillary Clinton, has yet to clinch the Democrat nomination, and William Hill, who make her 1/2 (66%) to win the race to the White House, think she may struggle even to win the California Primary, for which she is a 2/7 (77%)chance, with Bernie Sanders offered at 5/2.(28%).
