Phelan In Pole Position For Hull Role Following Opening Day Victory
Mike Phelan is 4/11 to secure the Hull manager’s job after winning the opening game of the season. Despite reportedly turning down the offer, Chris Coleman is the 7/2 second favourite according to William Hill with Bernd Schuster and former boss, Steve Bruce both 8/1.
“Suddenly the Hull job looks a little less tricky with three points on the board and given the unlikely victory, Mike Phelan is odds on to bag the role,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
After being dropped by Pep Guardiola on Saturday, Joe Hart is 8/11 to join Everton during the summer transfer window although 11/10 to stay at Manchester City.
