Monk Odds-On To Be Next Out

Garry Monk is a 2/7 shot to be the next manager to leave his job, despite his side’s comeback against Bournemouth on Saturday while Steve McClaren is 5/1.

Towards the top of the table, Liverpool’s win against Manchester City, not only shortened the Reds’ odds of finishing in the top four of the Premier League (11/8 to 5/4) but saw Leicester hit the top of the table. The Foxes are just 150/1 to win the Premier League (from 2500/1 at the start of the season) while they are just 8/1 to finish in the top four.

Liverpool’s win against City may have had an unlikely scoreline but one lucky William Hill punter from Reading managed to predict not only the score but the fact that Coutinho would score the first goal (Coutinho registered the first goal for the purposes of the scorecast despite the first goal being an og). The punter placed £5 at 500/1 scooping a tidy £2500.
