Can AP Finish Festival With A Win?

AP McCoy is Even-Money with William Hill to ride a winner on the final day of the Cheltenham Festival, which will be his last as a jockey. The Champion Jockey will retire this season and has five rides on Friday.

Ned Buntline looks the most likely winner for McCoy in the final Cheltenham Festival race on Friday, when he lines up on Ned Buntline, the 4/1 favourite for the newly re-named ‘AP McCoy Grand Annual Chase Challenge Cup’ at 5.15pm. The horse is owned by JP McManus, who employs AP McCoy as his retained jockey.

“The dream is on for AP to go out with a winner and there will be plenty of punters getting stuck in to Ned Buntline, his final ever ride at the Cheltenham Festival,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.

William Hill are also offering odds of 10/1 for AP McCoy to be back in the Cheltenham Festival winners’ enclosure – as either a trainer, breeder or owner – in the next five years.
