Wenger 6/4 To Be On The Move… Costa 7/4 To Join Chelsea In Summer
Arsenal are 4/9 to defeat West Ham on Tuesday night as they attempt to keep their hunt for a place in the top four on track. Despite sitting two points adrift of Everton in fourth place, the Gunners are 4/6 with William Hill to reclaim their place in the Champions League spots before the season ends.
“Everton have the upper hand right now but Arsenal know exactly what needs to be done in order to finish in the top four and the odds suggest their experience may just see them make it,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
After sneaking into the FA Cup Final, William Hill make Arsenal 2/7 favourites to lift the trophy with opponents, Hull 5/2. An FA Cup victory may not be enough for Arsenal fans who have , at times, grown weary of Wenger this season and it is 6/4 that he is no longer in charge on the first day of next season
Liverpool’s seemingly relentless charge towards the title continued this past weekend as they defeated Manchester City and for the first time in the history of the Premier League, they are William Hill’s favourites to win the Premier League. At 4/5, Liverpool are ahead of Manchester City at 15/8 and Chelsea who are 4/1.
Should Liverpool remain unbeaten for the remainder of the season, there is no way that they can be caught and they are 8/11 to do so.
Steven Gerrard has been backed in to 2/1 favouritism to win the BBC Sports Personality of the Year after his side moved a step closer to winning the top division for the first time in 24 years. He moved ahead of Lewis Hamilton at 4/1, Chris Froome at 7/1 and Andy Murray at 9/1.
Chelsea target, Diego Costa injured himself during his side’s victory against Getafe on Sunday night. He is 6/4 to still be at his current club come the start of next season’s La Liga season although he is just a shade longer, at 7/4, to join Chelsea over the summer.
